Our History

Our Detachment started with several Marines meeting informally at Messina Hof in Bryan, TX,  thanks to the generous support of owners Paul V. Bonarrigo (Navy FMF Corpsman) and Paul M. Bonarrigo ( USMC Captain).

Our charter was officially approved on January 11, 2012.

And, on April 14, 2012, National Southern Division Vice Commandant Harry Bruce and the Department of Texas Commandant Bob Quinn presided over our charter ceremony at the American Legion Earl Graham Post 159.
